Your Rights as a Client of the Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and Division of Blind Services

As an applicant of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR)or the Division of Blind Services (DBS), you have the right to apply for services and have an eligibility decision made within 60 days. After you have been determined eligible, DVR or DBS may request that you participate in various evaluations, testing, and assessments. After your evaluations are complete, you and your Vocational Counselor should develop in partnership your Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) to outline your work goals and services needed to attain those goals.
